This is a part-time remote role preferably located in the Central Texas Area for a Certification & Communications Specialist. The role involves managing certification programs, supporting credentialing processes, and preparing communication materials. Overall, the Certification & Communications Specialist plays a dual role in safeguarding the integrity of our professional credentials while driving member engagement. This individual manages the end-to-end certification lifecycle—ensuring compliance with ANSI/ANAB standards—while coordinating digital outreach and website updates to enhance member value.
Experience: 2–3 years in marketing, communications, or certification management, preferably within an association or non-profit.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ANAB/ANSI standards or similar compliance frameworks.
Experience with CMS (Higher Logic/WordPress), LMS (Learn Dash), and Email Marketing (Informz/Constant Contact).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to create engaging content.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience (proficiency preferred) in Adobe Creative Suite platforms (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Self-starter with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
Bilingual preferred, not required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Travel: One-work week in the Spring for the annual conference (required); other possible travel for training and other events pending association needs and personal schedule (not required), expenses covered.
