The Storm King School is a co-educational, independent boarding and day school serving 185 students in grades 8–12 from across the United States and more than 20 countries. The Fencing Coach is responsible for the development of athletes in weapons of epee and foil, growing interest in sabre. SKS Fencing currently operates as a USA Fencing club over two seasons (winter/spring). The coach has the opportunity to collaborate with the Athletic Director to build a robust schedule for all participants. Key training areas should also align with the school’s core values: Truth, Respect, and Responsibility. Coaching experience is preferred, competition experience is required. The fencing coach may be asked to participate in regular staff meetings in alignment with their position in athletics. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and pass all applicable background checks.

Salary and Benefits: The salary range for a stipend position is between $3,500 and $5,000, per season, depending on experience. Based on the wishes of the ideal candidate combined with the needs of the school, a full-time role with mutual agreement would also be considered. Open teaching positions for 2026-2027 may potentially include Math and Chemistry.
