Responsibilities may include any of the following: 

• Select, develop, train, and deploy deep neural network architectures using tools such as PyTorch, and train them for object and event detection and classification tasks.  

• Develop image analysis algorithms and deep learning architectures to solve problems. 

• Collaborate with team members. 

A qualified candidate will exhibit most of the characteristics below: 

• Passion and interest in working in a fast-paced startup, small-team environment. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• A willingness and ability to innovate and think "outside of the box." 

• Proficiency in developing deep learning architectures and image analysis algorithms. 

• Good python programming skills 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. 

• A willingness to work full time. 

Education and experience required: 

• Bachelor’s degree – machine learning, computer vision, computer science, mathematics or equivalent 

• Ideally 2+ years’ proven work experience in deep learning, and machine learning. 

• Demonstrable experience in python 

Bonus points for the following: 

• Knowledge of computer vision 

• C++ programming skills 

• Familiarity with linux 

• Familiarity with OpenCV 

• Familiarity with AWS 

• Experience of git 

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
