The District contributes $20,225 annually towards any medical benefit plan selection. A monthly payroll deduction is activated to cover any amount over $20,225.

The Position
Under the supervision of the Director of State and Federal Programs, the District Parent Coordinator will serve as a liaison between schools, parents, and the community; will educate teachers and staff on communicating effectively and working together with parents as equal partners; will advise and train parents on how to become better advocates for their children’s education; will conduct home visits to assist and support parents in understanding the educational process; will provide information on services available to eligible students and families; will coordinate and convey information regarding school and/or district activities and procedures; will refer families to other agencies as needed; will perform other related duties as required.
Required: -Valid California administrative credential authorizing service in this position -Five (5) or more years of successful teaching experience with increasing responsibilities at the site level. -Master’s Degree. -Character, personality, and social capability to relate and communicate effectively with staff, students, and community Apply online: www.psusd.us
