This is not your typical sit-at-a-desk role—we’re looking for someone who’s confident in engaging with prospective residents, eager to learn the business, and motivated by results. While we prefer candidates with 3+ years of conventional multifamily leasing experience, we are open to individuals with strong customer-facing experience from hospitality, restaurants, or retail. If you’ve worked in fast-paced environments, know how to manage client interactions with ease, and are looking to grow into the real estate industry, this is a great entry point into property management. This role is also ideal for someone who may already be familiar with Fair Housing laws—but don’t worry, we’re happy to train the right person. What You’ll Be Doing Leasing Support & Prospect Engagement Physically tour vacant units, common areas, and amenities with prospective residents
Set up mini models or refresh unit staging as needed to ensure a polished, welcoming first impressionOrganize and host weekend open houses to increase leasing traffic and visibilityPromote available units through strategic outreach and follow-up via text, phone, and emailAssist with outreach marketing and neighborhood engagement to drive local awarenessRespond to inquiries via phone, email, and text in a timely and professional manner.Follow up with all prospects and document interactions in our CRM system.Administrative & Operational Duties Enter and maintain accurate leasing data, appointment details, and prospect information.Assist with leasing paperwork and ensure compliance with MJW standards.Support on-site teams with resident communications and light administrative tasks as needed.Document all prospect interactions, appointments, and follow-ups using Yardi CRMEnsure accurate data entry, including prospect sources, tour outcomes, and application statusHelp maintain leasing logs, weekly tour schedules, and market survey tracking sheetsAssist with application processing, lease paperwork, and compliance documentation Flexible Coverage Float between properties based on operational need and leasing activity.Act as a friendly, knowledgeable point of contact for potential residents during high-traffic periods.Collaborate with maintenance and onsite staff to ensure units are tour-readyOffer additional support during peak leasing seasons or special events
Schedule & Availability This is a part-time position, approximately 25–30 hours per week. Availability is required: Thursday & Friday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PMSaturday & Sunday: Flexible schedule based on property traffic and tour demand Exposure & Work Environment Onsite & Office Presence: Combination of onsite property management and office-based work. Travel: Travel may be required between properties within the region. Engagement: Frequent interaction with potential tenants, vendors, and internal teams. Performance Metrics & Bonus Eligibility Performance expectations, including key metrics, will be determined by the assigned portfolio and discussed with the employee by their manager. These metrics may include, but are not limited to, financial performance, lease renewals, resident retention rates, and delinquency management. Bonuses and performance-based incentives are calculated based on these metrics, aligning with company goals and property performance
