This is an hourly position.
During grow-in can expect 55-60 hours per week. Once operational our schedule will reduce hours to 42-45 weekly.
Preferred Education:
H.S. Diploma/Equivalent
New Holland GC is a new golf-only club in New Holland, SC. Golf playability is the priority and the Crew Foreman will be tasked with direct supervision, quality control, and responsibility for the day-to-day activities and jobs related to golf course setup and presentation for members, guests, and customers.
Responsibilities include: Assigning morning tasks to a crew of 8-10 laborers. Executing chemical applications. Coordinating tasks at the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent with the assistance of Equipment Manager.
Position may develop into a salaried managerial position as the golf course opens and matures.
2-3 years golf course maintenance experience. Spray/fertilizer applications. Ability to take direction, instruction, and training. Desire to advance in golf maintenance. Will consider current turf management or techincal college students.
New Holland Golf Club is a golf-only, minimal amenity golf club under construction in New Holland, SC. Club play will emphasize spirited local competitions and no frills accessibility to the golf course. The course will be presented to emphasize the found features and tilt and bounce take precedent to speed and agronomy.
